Current Project: Geary BRT
Improvements proposed in the Geary Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project offer solutions to meet rising transportation demands and make traveling on Geary Boulevard, Geary and O’Farrell streets more efficient, safe and vibrant for everyone. My role on the Geary BRT project is to manage and deliver outreach campaigns in assist in service planning tasks to support the project through the environmental review phase.
Past Projects:
Safer Market Street is a series of traffic engineering solutions designed to reduce conflicts and improve safety conditions for all, including turn restrictions, the extension of existing transit-only lanes, and new loading and painted safety zones.
The Lombard Street Safety Project is a package of transit and safety improvements designed to make Lombard Street safer and enhance transit service.
I played a very similar role as I did on the Geary BRT project for the Safer Market Street and Lombard Street Safety projects. For Safer Market Street to support project delivery I coordinated with map providers to update their routing to correctly reflect the new turn restrictions and legal traffic circulation.
Western Riverside Climate Action Plan (AECOM)
I developed the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reports for several cities in Western Riverside County. Western Riverside has a very diverse set of transportation, energy and agriculture needs with a political climate much different than adjacent regions, such as Los Angeles and San Diego. Developing climate change policy, therefore, required comprehensive outreach with internal city stakeholders across the county and the public.
